Well- it’s whiter outside and colder. We have a little snow at the Lodi trail- good enough for the Youth Ski Program. The forecast looks good for snow next week.Hopefully we can have practices in Lodi and races as planned elsewhere.
The HS and MS ski teams have a race at Blackhawk on Saturday morning with Peak Nordic, Blackhawk, Snowflake Nordic and Madison( combined with Ice Age).
Lapham Peak and elsewhere will start making snow today. CXC is okay but only 0.7k with plenty of sharp turns.

Despite the frustrating snow conditions in December- the ski teams have skied a lot. We hope to have 9 opportunities to race before the State Sprints in Brillion on February 3-4. Anyone planning to ski the Korteloppet or Birkie better plan on a ski session of 15k this weekend.
