The Summer Training period concluded on Saturday 8/12 with a rollerski race at Blue Mounds State Park. 4 skiers attended with Adrienne Bakken finishing 3rd in the Girls 6k skate, Audrey Bakken 2nd in the 6k classical. Alex Kashuk took first in the Boys 6k skate with Lucas Varela second. The featured race was the brutal Uphill 10k classic race which was won by Charlie Vater of Iola, with Chippewa Valley Nordic taking 2nd and 3rd. The Women’s’ race was won by Lilly Hubanks from St. Olafs.

Summer training is over with fall sports starting this week. If you are interested in team training stats, check the file attached to this News.

There will be a Fall Training program for non- CC running skiers. There will also be weekend rollerskiing for the Boys HS Team and select MS skiers starting in mid- September. ( The girls running CC won’t be rollerskiing.)
