The 2023 South Conference Ski Camp was productive and successful with 29 skiers from the South Conference attending. The camp was set up and run by Peak Nordic following the model of their annual summer over nite camp. The weather, food, facilities and coaching was Great!
Things started off with the Uphill Grass Championships run on wax-less skis. In the afternoon, skiers completed a 30 or 38k over- distance ski starting with skating and switching to classical. The day finished with standup paddle boarding.
On Sunday, skiers met at the Badger GoKart track in Dousman and participated in Skate and classical sprint racing. The camp finished with Log Rolling!!
Ice Age Nordic had 6 skiers attend the camp.
