Our ski season finished up this weekend at the Great Bear Chase in Calumet.MI. The “Team” was greeted with new snow, white out conditions, wind and COLD🥶. Amelia and Dan skied their first 50k Race and completed the classical event in 4:56. Nathan placed 3rd in the HS Boys division with a great time of 1:40 given how slow and cold the snow was. Sam Clepper was close behind, finishing in 1:49. Carla did her first 25k Marathon/ skate and finished in 2:14 with Phoenix right behind. Emily skied the 25k Classical in 2:20. Coach Dale skied his last 25k Race and has graduated to 10k sprints in the future.

I will be collecting some skis from a few skiers who have not turned in their equipment yet. Keep following TeamApp and plan to attend the Ski Team Picnic in the Spring/ maybe at Indian Lake County Park. Happy Spring!
